Certably can now read a fuse board from one photo

· 1 min read

Photograph the consumer unit and the circuit schedule fills itself in.

The slowest part of an electrical certificate is the circuit schedule. Every way on the board has to be typed out by hand, standing in a cupboard under the stairs.

Certably now does that from one photograph. Point the camera at the consumer unit and the app reads the board and fills in the circuit schedule. The electrician checks it, corrects anything it got wrong, and moves on to testing.

It is part of the same idea that runs through the group: take what is already in front of you, in this case the wiring regulations and the board itself, and make it something a phone can check.

Board scanning is included in Certably's electrical subscription.
